Sporangia of Other Myxomycetes

This picture of the sporangia of Didymium iridis was taken at the 1977 NAMA Foray in Athens, WV and was collected on Sphagnum from Long Island, NY.

Also collected on Long Island were the specimens (below, in order) of Metatrichia vesparium, Cribraria intricata, Lamproderma arcyrionema, and Arcyria nutans.
