Here, at higher magnification, is the region around "A" in SKIN 10. Compare this micrograph with that in SKIN 02. The Pacinian corpuscle ("PC") is surrounded by hypodermal connective tissue. Note the muscular artery ("BV") and the numerous nerve fasicles ("N") in the immediate vicinity of this deep pressure receptor.
