PANCREAS 05
Hide Legend
Full frame width = 1000 um
This low magnification view of dog pancreas reinforces points made in other slides of this unit. The labels G, V, A, and D, indicate, respectively, a small parasympathetic ganglion, the lumen of a vein, the lumen of a small muscular artery, and an interlobular duct. In the dog, Islets tend to cluster in the "tail" of the pancreas; there are very few Islets in this section.
