Full frame width = 165 um
Here, at higher magnification, is the region around "G" in Intestines 07. One of the cells in mitosis ("M") is now more clearly distinguished, as are the large seromucous droplets in several Paneth cells (at the arrows). Upon careful inspection, the highly cellular lamina propria will be found to contain, in addition to fibroblasts and numerous lymphocytes, scattered plasma cells (not well shown in this field) and, at the asterisk (*), several cells with eosinophilic granules - either mast cells or tissue eosinophils (the exact identification would depend on carefully focussing up/down to determine the morphology of the nucleus of each cell).
