Bone marrow smear. The cells at "A" are a cluster of erythroid cells ranging from polychromatophilic erythroblasts to normoblast. The cells labeled "B" and "C" are neutrophilic myelocytes. Note the flattened nucleus and the pale zone in the cytoplasm where the Golgi is located. Granules are small and lend a stippled texture to the cytoplasm. The cell labeled "D" is an early neutrophilic metamyelocyte.
