A portion of the liver, this section reveals the characteristic arrangement of hepatocytes into rows (or cords), separated by specialized blood vessels called venous sinusoids. Arrow A indicates one of the binucleate hepatocytes frequently found in such fields, while arrow B indicates the lumen of one of the sinusoids.
