Peripheral blood smear. Visible in this field are four nucleated cells. Cells labeled "A" and "B" are segmented neutrophils. The cell labeled "C" is a band neutrophil. The cell labeled "D" is larger in size with a distorted nucleus. This cell is most likely a monocyte.
